Syfy Channel Schedules "Star Blazers" Premiere For April 21, 2011

A recent schedule update at the official website of the Syfy Channel has slated Star Blazers: The Quest For Iscandar to premiere the night of Thursday, April 21st at 12:00 AM and 12:30 AM. Star Blazers was originally broadcast in syndication from 1979 to 1984 as an adaptation of the Japanese sci-fi series Space Battleship Yamato.

Beforehand, Syfy's block of anime programming will move to Thursday nights starting March 24th. It currently airs Chrono Crusade and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
