CAKE Takes New "Total World" Series

CAKE Entertainment will continue to act as distributor for Total Drama after picking up worldwide rights to Total Drama Reloaded, the fourth series in the franchise, World Screen reports. The new series will return to Camp Wawanakwa with a new cast of characters.

Separately, CAKE co-founder Genevieve Dexter is selling her majority stake in the company to her partner Tom van Waveren, Animation Magazine reports. The dissolution of their partnership is described as amicable and no large-scale changes at the company are expected.
