FUNimation Acquires "Disgaea"

FUNimation Entertainment has picked up the home entertainment, broadcast, and digital rights to Disgaea, the company said yesterday.

The 12-episode series, which has been adapted by director Kiyotaka Isako from a role-playing game, will get a DVD release in early 2011. The first episode, with English voice track, can be viewed online at www.funimation.com/video.
