"MSG 00: Trailblazer" Gets NY Anime Fest Playdate

Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer will get its North American premiere at the New York Anime Festival/New York Comic Con on Sunday, October 10, the distributors announced today. The movie will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.

The two-hour movie sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is set in 2314 AD, two years after Celestial Being's last great battle, as the Gundam Meisters go on a mission to save the Earth from a derelect ship that is approaching Earth.

The film is set for release in Japan on September 18.
