Larry Fitzgerald, Brian Dawkins, Steven Jackson, and Calvin Johnson are among the NFL players, coaches and personalities that will lend their voices to Rush Zone: Guardians of the Core, Nicktoons announced today.
The short-form series, which will be made up of 22 two-to-five minute episodes, is about a boy with the physical abilities of a football player who must use those powers to battle an evil villain who is trying to reassemble the shards of a life force that have been hidden in all 32 NFL stadiums. It is based on the NFL's NLFRUSH ZONE, an online world for kids.
Other NFL personalities voicing themselves in the series include Norv Turner, Marcus Allen, Shannon Sharpe, Bob Papa, Eli Manning, and Sean Payton.
Rush Zone will debut on Monday, September 6, at 8:00pm (ET) on Nicktoons and regularly air Mondays at 8:00pm during NFL season.
