"Handy Manny" Getting Prime-Time Special

Handy Manny will make a special prime-time, Disney Channel appearance in Handy Manny Big Construction Job, Disney announced today.

The special will bow on October 11 at 7:00pm (ET/PT) on the Disney Channel following a full-length preview on Disney Channel On Demand on October 4.

Big Construction Job takes Manny and his tools out of Sheet Rock Hills to work on an out-of-town construction job, where they meet new tool friends. It is being aired in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month, and will feature three new original songs: "Hey Manny," "Power Tools" and "It's Good to be Back Home."

The special will be available on mobile VOD for AT&T CV, Sprint TV and Verizon V Cast customers beginning Tuesday, October 12, and will become available on iTunes and Xbox Live on November 16 in conjunction its DVD release.

PlayhouseDisney.com is also launching the interactive "Manny's Big Crane Game" and other features all themed to the special.
