For the week of August 16 – 22, SpongeBob SquarePants was once again the only animated series in the cable top 25 based on total viewers. SpongeBob only placed one spot at #19 for a Saturday 10 a.m. showing with 4.181 million viewers. The same episode was also #1 for the week with kids 2-11 (2.210 million) and #6 with kids 6-11 (1.413 million).

Other animated program ratings for the week include:

  • A new episode of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated on Cartoon Network (Monday, 7 p.m.) scored 622,000 kids 6-11, 1,146,000 kids 2-11 and 417,000 kids 9-14. All demos rebounded from last week’s drop, as it did not go head-to-head with a SpongeBob marathon this time around.
  • Episodes of Adventure Time (8 p.m.) and Flapjack (8:30 p.m.), also on Cartoon Network’s Monday line-up, scored 1.720 million and 1.445 million viewers, respectfully.
  • Also on Cartoon Network Monday night, a new Total Drama World Tour (9 p.m.) scored 588,000 kids 6-11, 937,000 million kids 2-11, 513,000 kids 9-14, and 1.526 million total viewers age 2+. All demos and total viewers numbers were down week-to-week.
  • A new Futurama on Comedy Central (Thursday, 10 p.m.) scored 1.774 million viewers and a 0.8/2 adults 18-49 rating. Down in both categories week-to-week.
(All times are Eastern. Total viewers includes persons age 2+.)
