Steve Perry, "Thundercats" and "Silverhawks" Writer, Missing and Feared Murdered

Comics and animation writer Steve Perry, who worked on the Rankin-Bass series Thundercats and Silverhawks, has been missing since last Friday and feared murdered in a developing case in Florida. Perry was declared to be a missing person on Friday, May 21, 2010, after the house which Perry shared with two roommates was found ransacked and all residents missing. Perry's van was found several days before he was declared a missing person, with news reports stating that a body part was found in or near the vehicle.

His roommates, James W. Davis and Roxanne D. Davis, have been arrested and are currently in custody on unrelated charges. Comicon.com's PULSE News has also uncovered a domestic violence injunction filed by Perry against Kristal Carrol seeking custody of their son Leo Perry, which was dismissed after Perry missed the scheduled hearing on May 13, 2010.

Writer/artist Steve Bissette, who is also a close friend of Perry, is keeping close tabs on the case as it develops.
