DreamWorks Animation Reports $43.6M Profit for 4Q 2009

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. has reported net income of $43.6M on revenues of $194.2M. The amount represents a drop in profit of 16% from the same period a year earlier, based on a decline in home video sales and no new theatrical releases. How to Train Your Dragon was delayed from last year to this year, leaving Monsters vs. Aliens as the studio's only theatrical release. The delay means the studio will have three theatrical releases this year: How to Train Your Dragon in March, Shrek Forever After in May, and MegaMind in November.
