Lionsgate and Crest Animation Studio Partner for "Norm of the North"

The Hollywood Reporter states that India's Crest Animation Studios and Lionsgate will partner to produce Norm of the North, a 3-D CGI animated feature film that will be the second of three films out of a co-production deal signed in 2005. The movie is about a polar bear, and will be written by Steven and Daniel Altiere for a scheduled first quarter 2012 release. The first movie from the Crest/Lionsgate deal, Alpha and Omega, is scheduled to premiere in October 2010.
