The nominees for the 2009 Annie Awards have been announced.

The films in the running for Best Animated Feature are Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Princess and the Frog, The Secret of Kells and Up.

Meanwhile, Pups of Liberty, Robot Chicken: Star Wars 2.5, The Rooster, The Crocodile and The Night Sky, The Story of Walls and Santa, The Fascist Years are the nominees for Best Animated Short Subject.
