A cleverly comedic, music-filled holiday special, "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation," will premiere across multiple Disney-ABC TV, radio and digital platforms plus iTunes and Xbox Live, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27 through FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18. The special is from creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, the team behind "Phineas and Ferb," the #1 animated series for kids and tweens.

Eric Coleman, Senior Vice President, Original Series, Disney Television Animation, said: "This special has all the makings of a holiday classic – a strong theme of gratitude, plus the comedy, great music and smart writing fans have come to expect from 'Phineas and Ferb.'"

In addition to the series talented cast, the special guest stars include: Clancy Brown ("Shawshank Redemption"), Jane Carr ("Dear John," "Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Malcolm McDowell ("A Clockwork Orange"), Mathew Horne ("Gavin & Stacey") and Bruce MacKinnon ("The Catherine Tate Show").

Povenmire and Marsh said: "We're thrilled about the multi-platform premiere of 'Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation' because it gives us the opportunity to share our own Christmas story with so many and we'd like to think that in the future, the platypus will be associated with Christmas as much as a reindeer!" They continued, "The episode has some of our best musical numbers, lots of holiday themes, and like those Christmas classics we grew up with, Phineas and Ferb have to overcome some pretty big obstacles to save Christmas. That's really the underlying theme of the special – as well as the series – that if you set your mind to something, especially with the help of your friends and family, you can accomplish anything."

Phineas and Ferb characters will debut during the "Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade," airing Friday, December 25 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on the ABC Television Network. The Emmy and BAFTA-nominated series has created opportunities for other Disney divisions including Disney Consumer Products (apparel, accessories, and collectible plush), Disney Publishing Worldwide (books, comics), Disney Interactive Studios (a fast-selling Nintendo DS game), Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and a soundtrack on Walt Disney Records which has been a top seller since its September release.

The schedule is:

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27 -- Radio Disney begins to showcase new songs from "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation" soundtrack. The iTunes Music Store will make available all songs including "Christmas is Starting Now" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, a winter rendition of the main title theme by Bowling for Soup, "Thank You Santa" by Jeremy (Mitchel Musso), "I Don't Really Hate Christmas" by Dr. Doofenshmirtz (Dan Povenmire), "Where Did We Go Wrong?" by Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella), Baljeet (Maulik Pancholy) and Isabella (Alyson Stoner).

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6 (8:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., ET/PT) -- "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation" premieres with two consecutive telecasts on Disney XD

MONDAY, DECEMBER 7 -- Special becomes available on Disney Channel SVOD, Disney XD VOD, Disney XD Mobile, iTunes and Xbox.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) -- Premiere on Disney Channel preceded by a six-hour marathon (2:00-8:00 p.m.) of "Phineas and Ferb" episodes.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12 -- Available on DisneyChannel.com and DisneyXD.com.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18 (6:00 p.m., ET/PT) -- Premiere on ABC Family as part of its "25 Days of Christmas" programming event.

In the special, it's Christmas Eve and an excited Phineas and Ferb are working to turn the city of Danville into a giant shimmering thank you card to Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz develops a Naughty-inator, and suddenly the Tri-state area is clouded in naughtiness and kids' letters to Santa are returned unanswered. Two of Santa's British elves arrive to investigate, but Phineas and Ferb must quickly devise a way to spread holiday cheer, all while Mom and Dad go to the airport to fetch Grandpa and Grandma Fletcher who've just arrived from England. Meanwhile, Candace tries, in a not so covert way, to figure out what's on Jeremy's Christmas wish list.

Guest starring are: Clancy Brown as Santa Claus, Jane Carr as Grandma Fletcher, Malcolm McDowell as Grandpa Fletcher, Mathew Horne as elf Blay'n and Bruce MacKinnon as elf Clewn't.

Starring are singer-actor Vincent Martella ("Everybody Hates Chris") as Phineas Flynn, Thomas Sangster ("Nanny McPhee") as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale ("High School Musical") as Candace Flynn, Mitchel Musso ("Hannah Montana") as Jeremy, Caroline Rhea ("Sabrina, the Teenage Witch") as mom Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Richard O'Brien ("The Rocky Horror Picture Show") as dad Lawrence Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker ("American Dad") as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner ("Cheaper by the Dozen") as Isabella, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Monogram and Dan Povenmire as the nefarious Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

The series creators and executive producers are Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. Dan Povenmire and Zac Moncrief direct. Danny Jacob is the music composer. "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
