November 2009 Programming Highlights for YTV and Treehouse

Corus Kids has released programming highlights for November 2009 for the YTV and Treehouse networks. YTV will be showcasing new episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants, the Fairly OddParents: Wishology trilogy, and a preview of Canada's Nickelodeon channel in advance of the new channel's debut on November 2, 2009.

CORUS KIDS NOVEMBER 2009 HIGHLIGHTS
Sample Nickelodeon on YTV Sunday, November 1 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
(October 5, 2009 – Toronto, Canada) YTV isout with the old and in with the new this November with premiere episodes of viewers’ favourite series including everyone’s favourite sea sponge SpongeBob SquarePants, the season finale of True Jackson, VP and five new blockbuster movies. Preschoolers and their parents can also enjoy never-before-seen episodes from Sesame Workshop on Treehouse.
YTV “NEW”VEMBER 2009 HIGHLIGHTS
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS – NEW EPISODES
This “New”vember YTV proudly presents 12 new episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. Beginning Monday, November 2 until Thursday, November 19 at 5:30 p.m. in The Zone hosted by Carlos, viewers can enjoy a brand new episode of SpongeBob and his friends from Bikini Bottom every day. Topping it all off, this special programming event will come to a close with the new one-hour special SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square.
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: TRUTH OR SQUARE – SPECIAL PREMIERE
The Krusty Krab is having its 10th anniversary! To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mr. Krabs plans a party and enlists the help of everyone. But there’s a problem when the team gets stuck in the freezer and the only way out is through the ventilation system. Featuring clips from past shows, this episode celebrates 10 years of laughter. SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square premieres on Friday, November 20 at 5 p.m.
SAMPLE NICKELODEON ON YTV
Corus Kids welcomes Nickelodeon to its menu of kids services with a special sneak-peek of the channel when YTV shares its airwaves the day before Nick’s launch on Sunday, November 1 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Episodes of new and old Nick favourites will be offered during this special event including series such as CatDog, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, iCarly, The Penguins of Madagascar, SpongeBob SquarePants and a premiere episode of the new animated series exclusive to Nickelodeon in Canada, Fanboy and Chum Chum starring Jamie Kennedy and Josh Duhamel at 10 a.m.
FASHION NIGHT WITH TRUE JACKSON, VP – SEASON FINALE
This “New”vember YTV celebrates style with Fashion Night. Viewers can get all dolled up to watch the one-hour season finale of True Jackson, VP starring Keke Palmer on Friday, November 27 at 6 p.m. The fashion fiesta continues with Hilary and Haylie Duff’s blockbuster movie Material Girls at 7 p.m.
BACK TO SCHOOL –SEASON FINALE
It’s the first day back to school for True (Keke Palmer) and she gets stuck with a large assignment from work. It’s hard to juggle her work load and homework, but True must find a way to balance the two. This special one-hour season finale premieres on Friday, November 27 at 6 p.m.
THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: WISHOLOGY TRILOGY
One wish, two wish, three wish! YTV presents three one-hour special parodies of blockbuster Hollywood trilogies in The Fairly OddParents: Wishology Trilogy. This special three-part event airs every Friday for three weeks beginning on Friday, November 13 at 4 p.m. Viewers can also check out The Fairly OddParents online game at YTV.com beginning November 13.
WISHOLOGY: PART ONE
It’s the beginning of an epic trilogy and Timmy must face the swirling black hole that is “The Darkness” which will swallow all the light and magic in the universe. Timmy discovers he’s the “Chosen One” and that to defeat “The Darkness” he must find a secret wand, with magic only Timmy can control. Wishology: Part One begins Friday, November 13 at 4 p.m.
WISHOLOGY: PART TWO
It turns out that Timmy didn’t defeat “The Darkness” – he only slowed it down. To overcome “The Darkness”, Timmy needs to find a second wand and make amends with his enemies. He’s fighting for the good of mankind. Wishology: Part Two continues on Friday, November 20 at 4 p.m.
WISHOLOGY: PART THREE
Timmy is confident in his defeat over “The Darkness”, but soon discovers he didn’t overcome it, rather he is now living within it. He needs his friends on the outside to help him find the last wand needed to beat it. Viewers can catch part three of The Fairly OddParents: Wishology Trilogy on Friday, November 27 at 4 p.m.
CHRISTMAS MOVIES
YTV is getting geared up for the holiday season with four back-to-back Christmas-themed movies in YTV’s Sunday afternoon movie block ZAPX on Sunday, November 29 beginning at 12 p.m. Holiday movies include:
