"Delgo" Coming to DVD on August 4, 2009

20th Century Fox has announced that Delgo will be released on DVD on August 4, 2009. The independent animated feature film tells a classic "Romeo and Juliet" love story on the alien world of Jhamora between the earthbound Lockni teenager Delgo and the winged Nohrin princess Kyla. The movie stars Freddie Prinze Jr, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Val Kilmer, Chris Kattan, Kelly Ripa, and Anne Bancroft in her final film role. Special features will include a director's commentary track, deleted scenes, four behind-the-scenes featurettes, and the "Chroma Chameleon" animated short film. Suggested retail price is $22.98.

Synopsis:
The land of Jhamora is torn apart by the mutual prejudice of two peoples – the winged Nohrin, masters of the skies, and the terrestrial Lockni, who harness the mystical powers of the land.
