"Happily N'Ever After 2" Comes to DVD March 24, 2009

Lionsgate will be releasing Happily N'Ever After 2 to DVD on March 24, 2009. The sequel to the 2006 feature Happily N'Ever After will tell a twisted fairy tale version of Snow White, who turns into a misguided teenager trying to prevent the marriage of her father the King to the evil, scheming Lady Vain. Several characters will be returning from the first film, including the Seven Dwarves, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Wizard's assistants Mambo and Munk. The DVD will carry a suggested retail price of $19.98, with a 2-pack edition for $29.98 containing the original movie as well.

This March, get ready to whistle while you work as Lionsgate releases a new twist on the classic tale of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves with the hilarious animated DVD Happily N’Ever After 2. The DVD is a sequel to “Happily N’Ever After”, the CGI-Animated theatrical release with over 1.5 million DVDs sold to date. Everyone’s favorite characters have returned in Happily N’ever After 2 including the Seven Dwarves, Rumpelstiltskin, and the hilariously funny break-out characters, Mambo and Munk, back in the role as the Wizard’s assistants responsible for managing the balance of good and evil in Fairy Tale Land. Just like the original, Happily N’ever After 2 follows everyone’s favorite fairy tales turned upside down in a funny, fast-paced adventure that is enjoyable for the entire family. Happily N’Ever After 2 includes three interactive games on the DVD and is available in foil embossed O-card packaging on March 24th for the suggested retail price of $19.98.
A “Happily 2 Pack” will also be available containing both Happily N’Ever After and Happily N’Ever After 2 for the price of $29.98.

SYNOPSIS
Fairy tales collide when Mambo and Munk tip the scales of good and evil once again. This time Princess Snow White is a misguided teenager who’d rather have fun with friends Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and Little Bo Peep than help peasants. When Snow White’s father is matched up with Lady Vain - a scheming witch brewing to rule the kingdom - Snow White becomes a thorn in Lady Vain’s side. Snow White is soon tricked by Lady Vain (with Rumpelstiltskin’s help) into spreading vicious gossip about the townspeople, forcing her to flee. Through rebuilding the three little pigs’ houses with the seven dwarves leading the way, Snow White learns the value of helping others. Only Snow White can foil her dad’s wedding to stop Lady Vain. With Mambo and Munk in tow, Snow White proves she can rule the kingdom, while bringing balance back to the scales of good and evil.
MARKETING SUPPORT
Lionsgate will support the release of the Happily N’Ever After 2 DVD with a kid-targeted television and online marketing campaign delivering over 500MM impressions. The studio will trailer the release on some of its highly-popular DVD releases and franchises including Thomas Railway Friends, Bob the Builder, Doodlebops, Care Bears and Speed Racer the Next Generation DVDs.
