Space
Ghost Episode Auction

I was surfing around on
www.awn.com (great site), when I saw this bit of info:
"Cartoon Network auctions off Space Ghost
ending." Huh?!? It gets weirder:
Whoever wants to know the cliffhanger ending of the
October
5, 1999 episode of SPACE GHOST: COAST TO COAST is
resolved will have to win the auction that the Cartoon
Network is holding Friday, October 15 to Monday,
October 18. Cartoon Network is auctioning off the last
page of that episode's script, which will not be part
of the broadcast episode, to benefit Clowns Without
Borders. The auction will be held at www.ebay.com. At
the end of Friday's episode, which guest stars
comedian Steve Wright, Space Ghost and cast find
themselves falling victim to replicating space pods.
Clowns Without Borders, based in Barcelona, Spain, is
"a humanitarian organization of international
[scope], formed by clowns and artists of all the arts,
that intends to improve the living conditions of
people, especially children and youth, in refugee
camps all over the world."
Hm? Does this mean that us folks without the dough to
pay for the last page of the script will NEVER know
the outcome? Odd... but I'll bet they'll make a TON of
money on this one.

Halloween on TBCS!

More TBCS news...
I dunno if you guys've been keeping up with the
schedules, but on Halloween week, rather than air
TBCS's usual slice-and-diced compilations, they'll be
airing full, original episodes of BnD, TTA, A!, and
PatB throughout the week. And "PatB
Halloween" will be airing on that Thursday! I
don't know if they'll be airing it with the original
openings and closings or TBCS ones, but I know a good
number of you needed a good copy of that episode
(including me), so fire up your VCRs, and don't forget
to 'toon in! =)

Now I just need "From Russia with Lab Mice"
and "Brainwashed Pt. I"...

Doing Well in Ratings

According to Ratings from here
(which is is in The WB's new press release section),
Detention's ratings are great, most likely meaning it
won't leave Saturday mornings come winter. I think
Kids WB! will either get rid of the extra "Pokémon"
or sadly get rid of "The New Batman/Superman
Adventures."
