New WB/Brad Bird movie!!
Thu Nov 4 17:02:07 1999

Okay, maybe the WB execs have a little sense. Here's a news article from www.staytooned.com...

Brad Bird, director of the great animated feature, "Iron Giant," recently announced his second directorial feature called "The Incredibles." The film will focus on a family of superheroes and will be produced by Warner Bros. Feature Animation. Bird is also writing the film alongside directing it. The project is obviously in the infancy stage of development, but will most likely be released late 2001, a year after "Osmosis Jones" hit theatres.

Heck yes. After seeing Iron Giant, I'll watch anything that man has anything to do with. Thank you, thank you, thank you WB. You have regained my faith. (Well, some of it, anyway.)

Still, I'm wondering... how does this bode for the "Two random Wayans Brothers" A Bug's Life/Animal Farm ripoff? Has it been delayed or cancelled? As far as I'm concerned, they can squish this repulsive little bug and make room for Brad Bird any day.
