The Cartoon Network has acquired 8 animated programs
owned by Warner Bros., two of which were recently
canceled by Kids' WB. Batman, Road Rovers,
Waynehead, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Beetlejuice,
The All New Gumby, The Fantastic Voyages of
Sinbad, and the entire run of Super Friends
will join the Cartoon Network line-up some time in
1998. Batman will not be leaving the Kids' WB
line-up..

As of December 12th, the Kids' WB lineup will have
changed again. A slight change this time, with the
Friday morning Tiny Toons being replaced by Channel
Umptee-3, and Channel Umptee-3's former
8:00 am Saturday morning time slot being filled by an
additional episode of Pinky & The Brain.

Following the success of the Bugs Bunny stamp, the US
Postal Service has announced that its second stamp
featuring an animated character will also be of a
Warner Bros. star. Actually, it's a pair of stars:
Sylvester & Tweety. Click

12, 1997
Beginning November 14th, Kids' WB has a new Friday
afternoon line-up. Bugs 'N' Daffy has been
removed from Fridays, with Animaniacs, Pinky
& The Brain, and The New Batman/Superman
Adventures each being pulled back by a half-hour
to make room for Men in Black at 4:30.

Calamity Jane has been removed from the Kids' WB
lineup, and will return "later this season".
