Today the Pokémon Company International released a video demonstrating the Pokémon Bank, an upcoming Nintendo 3DS service for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y that will allow players to store, manage, and transfer up to 3,000 Pokemon online, making it easier for those who’ve gotta catch ’em all to keep track of their collections
The Pokémon Bank launches Dec. 27 on the 3DS eShop.
It gives Pokémon trainers a wide number of options to search, filter, and manage their stables, including the ability to: store, withdraw and manage Pokemon online; transfer Pokémon from multiple copies of of Pokémon X and Y, including downloadable versions, on one 3DS; and transfer Pokemon from Pokémon Black and Pokémon White 1 and 2 to Pokémon X and Y using an included Pokemon Transporter application.
The Pokémon Bank service will cost $4.99 a year, but a free 30 day trial pass is available for players who download it between Dec. 27 and Jan. 31.
