by on November 21, 2011

British animation producer Mark Hall passed away from cancer on Friday, November 18, 2011, at the age of 75. Hall and his longtime creative collaborator Brian Cosgrove established the studio Stop Frame in the late 1960’s, but formed Cosgrove Hall Films in 1976, where they created their best-known animated TV shows including Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Jamie and the Magic Torch, and Cockleshell Bay. The pair retired in 2000 and Cosgrove Hall went out of business in 2009, but Hall and Cosgrove came out of retirement this year to form Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick Entertainment (CHF), which announced two new shows Pip! and The HeroGliffix.
