MacFarlane Makes Run For The Border

by on November 11, 2013

With the demise of “The Cleveland Show” and the upcoming relocation of “American Dad!” to TBS in 2014, Seth MacFarlane suddenly has an opening in the Sunday evening Fox animation lineup after his staple “Family Guy” – and that opening may get filled by his newest effort called “Bordertown”. The new animated series received the standard 13-episode first season order from Fox and will focus on twin Griffin-like families living ona town located on the American/Mexican border [though we think the American/Canadian border would have been more humorous] – with one family headed by Bud Buckwald, a Border Patrol agent, and the other family headed by Ernesto Gonzales, a hard-working Mexican immigrant. Hilarity is reported to be ensuing.

“Bordertown” is expected to debut in late 2014 on Fox.
