The Lego Group has revealed the 16 Simpsons mini-figures that will go on sale in the next wave of blind bags in May 2014, which will make them available at around the time the Lego episode of The Simpsons airs on May 4, 2014, at 8:00 PM (7:00 PM Central) on Fox.

In other news, The Hollywood Reporter notes that Warner Bros. will be cutting Village Roadshow Pictures out of The Lego Movie 2, the sequel to this year’s hit movie. Village Roadshow Pictures was Warner Bros. financing partner, ultimately underwriting 50% of the movie’s costs in return for an equal proportion of the profits (after Warners takes its studio fee). The movie has grossed approximately $393 million worldwide so far, with the recently greenlit sequel scheduled for 2017 and set to be helmed by Chris McKay (Robot Chicken).
