The Hollywood Reporter notes that The Lego Movie has become the first film of 2014 to break $400 million in ticket sales internationally, with $248.3 million in US ticket sales and $152.2 million internationally for a worldwide total of $400.5 million through Sunday. The total puts it $100 million ahead of its closest competitor in 2014, Warner and Legendary Pictures’ 300: Rise of an Empire. The Lego Movie also has yet to open in some international markets, including Australia (where it opens on April 3, 2014) and Germany (April 10).
