Kyle Gives "Ultimate Avengers" Update

by on March 13, 2005

In a recent issue of Wizard Magaine, Craig Kyle gave numerous updates on the Marvel/Lions Gate upcoming Ultimate Avengers direct-to-video feature.

Speaking of the current projects, “It’s the print of the film before it’s animated,” says Kyle. “It’s the storyboard cut together with the voice-over to give you the timing of the scenes and the flow of the movie. When you look at this version, you’re basically watching the film. It’s a huge piece of the puzzle.”

The voices are apparently cast, but have yet to be publicly announced, with the exception of a brief cameo from voice acting veteran Mark Hamill, best known to comic fans for his numerous roles including Gargoyle, Hobgoblin, and The Joker.

There are currently plans to develop a second Ultimate Avengers DTV, with an Iron Man direct-to-DVD feature to follow.
