“Justice has a new league” – catchy, right? – this October as DC Comics and IMG will bring their televised esports tournament, ELeague, to the TBS cable channel.
“Injustice 2” will be what everybody is fighting about, over and through in the first ELeague Injustice 2 World Championship. TBS will carry featured matches live during the open qualifying round beginning on Saturday, October 21, 2017. The tournament features the top 16 – the Sweet 16, if you will – Injustice 2 players in the world, vying for $250,000 in prize money.
“Injustice 2” allows players to build versions of their favorite iconic superhero-themed characters and will be the fourth ELeague game [after “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive,” “Overwatch” and “Street Fighter V”] since the esports tournament was launched in 2016.
