'Lo, all. I don't got much of an intro, but this is something that I wanted to do for a long time. A long time. It Justice League, so it's DCAU, so I'd like it if that is how you saw it as. Also, I'd like some help on the title, could you all help me with that?



Chapter 1



"Shade, you got visitors." The words of the guard startled the Shade. He didn't get visitors. He didn't really have anyone to visit him.

Then he saw his visitors. Two old men that he knew very well.

"Thinker. Fiddler. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Shade asked his former comrades.

"We want to stop it. We want to undo what we did." The Fiddler, Isaac Bowin said.

"It's been nearly forty years. And frankly, I've grown sick of that moron calling himself that." The Thinker, Clif DeVoe added. The Shade knew what they were talking about.

"I take it that's not the only reason, is it?" Shade replied.

"I've got a malignant tumor the size of a walnut at the base of my brain." Cliff said with a sigh.

"And I have arthritis like you wouldn't believe. I can barely hold a fiddle, let alone play one." Isaac said, looking at his hands.

"You do know that if we do this, the others will be very unhappy." Shade said slowly.

"Who are the others, really? Ragdoll, who belongs in a carnival. The Turtle, do I need to say more then what the name already does? The only one that poses a threat is Rival, and he couldn't care less." Cliff said in disdain for those mentioned. The Shade nodded and stood up.

"Fine then. We'll undo what's been done." A pool of shadow formed on one of the walls of his cell.

"They still believe you control darkness with your cane?" Isaac asked.

"And stop using the most clever ruse I've ever developed? Fiddler, you know me better then that." Shade said as the three entered the pool.

"It still amazes me how long it's gone unnoticed." Thinker said. Cliff never wore a complicated costume, just his business suit and the Thinking Cap.

"Why should it? We did make it." Fiddler replied. Isaac's costume was a tad more complicated and much more garish.

"Admire it while you can boys. It's about to go away." Shade said. They had an order. Shade would get rid of the shadow shell. Fiddler would restore memory of it, and Thinker would unfreeze it.

"A simple matter, really." Shade said, making a sweeping gesture. The shroud of shadows melted away.

"My last and most grand performance." Fiddler whispered and began to play a haunting melody. All across the world, those over fifty remembered something they didn't even know they forgot.

"Don't worry, I'm a scientist." Thinking quipped as he made some adjustments to the controls on his Thinking Cap.

In an instant, it happened.

Before them stood the urban sprawl that was known as Keystone City in all of it's glory.

"Now what?" Fiddler asked.

"Now we wait." Shade replied.

"I just hope that he's in a forgiving mood." Thinker commented.

I am not too familiar with Fiddler and Thinker, so I am a little confused as to how they brought back Keystone city. Maybe you could clarify that in the next chapter?
