Fifi at AC *again*

Ok for those that missed Anthrocon 2001. Fifi (well a fan in a Fifi suit) made an appearance again.

I just post what someone else said about it on the TTA ML since I'm lazy.

Fifi performed at the Masquerade. At first, the microphone had been turned off and the music also wasn't working, so she did a couple minutes of stand-up comedy with the tech crew. The audience loved how she traded risque quipsand ad-libbed with them till the audio problem was fixed. They loved her song. - "Negligee`" (sung to the tune of "Yesterday" by the Beatles)

Anyway how many people here go to furry cons? or plan to? they are a good place to meet WB fans.

I still think a WB con would be cool. Hmmm I wonder how much it would take to get the WBA team to dress up in TTA & A! (& others) characters costumes and get up on stage

--"Fifi" had a French accent as well? That would have been icing on the cake. Though I'd think those costumes would get unbearably hot and itchy after a while, esp. in summer....

There's a reason the person in the suit looks big. Just happens to be the author of the ongoing TTA epic A Time To Every Purpose Unto Heaven, possibly the biggest Fifi mark there is. Yes, I was surprised too. And no, I wasn't there. My family doesn't travel; for us, Magnolia might as well be Mongolia.

Uhhh they have AC at the cons as for the itchy feeling you get use to it.

Hmm... that gives me some ideas for Fifi's behind the laughter story... (no, that's not the series title... I'm not using a complete rip of the simpsons...)

Interesting. Over on EH, Bourgeois Buffoon put together an After the Laughter special which showed what happened to the Histeria cast after the show was cancelled. It was, to say the least, not flattering. It's gone down in infamy; I even had the H! chars themselves comment & let's just say Charity was the happiest of them. But I did manage to talk Froggo out of telling his buddy.
