Personally, I am waiting for the Animaniacs to come out on DVD.
In the process of checking some old info on Animaniacs, I came across the following recent press release:

...) more shirts ...
Call it a runaway train, but I blew it at 500 (I actually won more auctions than I imagined, and zipped right past to 504) ... well, I am starting to apply the brakes with about 40 or so to go.
Given that some of the older shirts are still going for over $25 ... yeah! So, you think any of this stuff will fetch a few bucks on eBay?
I actually felt guilty buying PPG DVD's because there weren't any A! ones ... though admittingly, it ain't the first (and nowhere close to the most) guilty PPG related thing I've done.Originally posted by calhoun07

Whoa. I don't think I've bought a single new one this year. I had to get a grip on my spending on collectibles, especially if I hope to make it to San Diego next month.Originally posted by Narfcake

I think I've mentioned to you before that the only PPG stuff I collect is Mojo Jojo, though I do have a few plushies and PVCs of the girls.I actually felt guilty buying PPG DVD's because there weren't any A! ones ... though admittingly, it ain't the first (and nowhere close to the most) guilty PPG related thing I've done.
I didn't feel any guilt at all buying all 3 PPG DVDs. I'm completely hooked on DVDs. Sure, I'd love to see Animaniacs on DVD, but I just don't think it's gonna happen. I'm still skeptical about the news I've heard on this much-rumored collectors edition of "The Iron Giant". Until I see an official AOL/Time-Warner press release, I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

Narfcake, do you have the Mane Event DVD?If so, there are these things called "Cartoon Orbit Codes" theere are 4 on the DVD, could you possibly tell me all 4?
Cool, I'll rush and buy it as soon as it is imported to Toronto (one way or another). It is a nice change to have new A! merchindize that is acutlly authentic. As for there not being any A! DVD I totaly agree alot of bootleger charge too much since they don't have to compete with anyone.
So that's why I can't get any damn shirts - you guys are outbidding me! Quit it! 500 shirts is enough! How is the Animaniacs fan base supposed to grow and get public recognition if we don't have shirts? We need shirts! Big ones! Er...how many cruzieros in a dollar?
Can I buy one of your shirts?
Free the Water Tower 3!
Don't blame us, blame WB for not keeping up with demand.Originally posted by don Jaime

Egad! All this talk of A! stuff makes me want to rush out to a WBSS in my area that no longer exists.
We're down to 2 locations for the entire state. =X
Narfpinky
Only has 7 P&TB shirts.
Why Brain? What do we want to do tomorrow night? Throw a slumber party?
Yes you have ... which reminds me that I haven't bought the "Curses!" shirt yet (which I've been uttering quite a bit nowadays. I think I still say "Narf" more often, though.)Originally posted by Gookie

(Most recent curse ... tire tread separation! No, I don't drive an Exploder, so I was fine.)

-- Kane ... who has about 560, in actuality.
But, Narfcake, that's 559 ads for A! that ain't gonna happen! If I can't have one, could you just start holding them up at sporting events??
Will - of course not, but marketing execs don't post here. They'd have to know how to type first. Heck, even Tom Ruegger hasn't joined this party, and he's there if you remember the bean dip and miniature hit dogs.

Can't say I blame them I don't exactly think I'd want them posting here well not the ones that did away with my favorite cartoons anyway.Originally posted by don Jaime

*SLAP**SLAP* that is for expecting TR to post here. After putting up with WB first hand do your really exect anyone from WBA to follow us closely?

Well, he used to post at a.t.a, and since it's kind of dead now, you'd sorta kinda anticipate he'd at least be aware of the primiere WB website out there. But, no, I wasn't expecting him. He's probably busy revising his resume.

I remeber when he posted from time to time at A.T.A but recently he is not even on AIM so I persume he is currently busy.Originally posted by don Jaime

Well if worse come to worse he could get a job at an underground studio like International Rocket Ship that is if he doesn't mind low pay for complete artistic control.

But prehaps he does mind. Having a substancial income is something that's hard to give up, once you've gotten used to it.
Or so I've heard.
If so underground is out. Most do it for fun and braging rights. Alot make their real money running cons, fest, bootleging, ect or working somewhere else and just comming in on the weekends.Originally posted by Sharklady
