Sam the Record Man declared bankruptcy yesteday It's not fair they have been around since before I was born, Sam was the cooliest. They still have the Wakko's Wish poster on the wall. And back in '99 they released Wakko's wish way early so people could give them as gifts. (why the hell didn't WB think of that) Go here and click My receipt for Wakko's Wish to see well my receipt.

I was able to get all the TTA and A! tapes from them they where nice and kind and didn't look at you like a freak for wanting old animation. I also got the TTA CD from them. There was nothing too rare that they wouldn't try to find for you.

Why, does Sam have to go they actully had intellegent managment and excelent customer service and decent prices.

I don't want to get my CD's and videos at Walmat

I can't believe they have declared bankruptcy. I thought that would neevr happen to SAMS. I wasn't a big fan of SAM'S. The only good thing they had was good prices on old punk and punk colilations. Other than that, their CDs were a bit expensive, sometimes $5 than other places for new releases. It does suck to see this place go. They gave wicked posters out to customers.

You ever go to their flagship store in downtown Toronto they had everything there. I was able to pick up the old Racoons LP there.
