Tiny Toons---To Be Ruined on Nick?

I believe next year, 2002, is the year TTA will be on Nickelodeon. Does this mean they'll screw up the opening like they did to Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs? I hope we don't see that stupid orange logo around everywhere in it, or reduce it to ten seconds. Maybe they'll show it in its original format like they did many years ago.

What I wanna know is why Cartoon Network had it for such a short time? They got it from Nick, and I would assume that since they are a Warner channel they would love to have Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, And Tiny Toons together on their network. Well, at least they will be together again for the first time in quite a while, each of these shows is classic, no matter what logo they stick on the titles. In fact, the orange logos don't bother me as much as squnched credits...why even run the credits at all, if I can't read them that way! Whatever they do, I plan to tape the Tiny Toon episodes when they run again on Nick...now that I know this series has stood the test of time so well. Plus, with the WB no longer airing it, they might have the complete series run this time.

Now all Nick needs is The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries & they can recreate the goodbye Spongebob Arnold too-ny Klasky-Csupo's all the toons-y show. I recorded TTA when they used to air on Nick; they allowed the entire Bugs opening, & not even KWB did that. Oh, Nick could treat this series with respect, now they got it back, but I don't think they will. Maybe there're different people in charge from before. Back in '98 they'd leave the Toonsters be; now, I don't think so. And why did CN let it get away? Maybe they're too preoccupied with their own toons? WBA continues to get the shaft compared with the HB / CC stuff.

I am just glad that they will be airing, no matter which channel. I can finally record all my favs that I missed on CN!

They WILL screw up the opening, I bet. Did it once, did it twice, they'll do it again...

...they've screwed up openings because they need to constantly make sure to remind us, we're watching Nick. It's getting competitive out in TV land...they need viewers, and I'll bet CN DID dropped TTA for new stuff. Hate to say it, but times are no longer good for TTA anymore, no one except for enlightened people like us at Toon Zone watches it much. (thank you, Captain Duh! )

Still, I'm happy I can finally see TTA....so I won't complain.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure Nick will mess up the opening. The only thing I'm unsure of is to what degree. But I'm with Buffoon and Joker on this one, at least we get to see Buster and company again.

Personally, I think all tv networks that put their logo in the corner of the screen are evil...

Golden Rules of broadcasting: No logos. Show episodes uncut. And leave the end credits intact. ( Or else we'll miss all those lovely end spiral shots )
