I have. And I had 3 VCR's set that night too, so it's on tape.

The key issue is where ... I have so much stuff in my room that I can't get to any of the drawers that my tapes are in.

-- Kane ... and if I recall correctly, it was shown prime time.

    I remember that special...

Yep, just once and nevermore after that! It'd be cool to see it again.

I have... and I absolutely loved it!! What sucked big time is that I ran out of tape about 10 minutes before the end... AUGH!! I fear I may never see it again... unless by some miracle WB decides to release it... =/

Wanna see a video clip of the opening to the Spring Break Special? Right-click on this link and save it on your hard drive. It's a RealVideo file, about 3MB big.

It was shown on FOX a few years ago if I'm not mistaken. It aired around 1994-1995, because the ad for it is on a tape of The Simpsons I made back then, when they were shown unaltered.

Well there were rumours that some execs did it to maximize bootleging profits but I don't belive it since that would mean that the execs have a quarter of a brain and everyone know they have none

I have never seen it, but I remember when it aired. Just mus've missed it. What I DO remember is the summer vacation one, and that showed up in Nickelodeon's package as a series of half-hour installments. They ran it complete as a movie once or twice, too. I imagine the spring break film was not lost but stuck in a package that never aired it....I think maybe the WB had some episodes that Nick did not, and since they usually confined the series to the whattamaroonie supergoony chopparoonie bad bad bad cartoonie show, in 7-to-10-minute segments, they never found the time to air it. There may be some half-hour eps that haven't been on for a while, either, but they probably at least got rerun at some point.

    Yes! I saw it!

Like Narfcake, I taped and now have little idea where it is now in my collection. It's a treasure that will turn up whenever I decide to keep track of what I have taped.

I remember enjoying it very much. Particularly liked the caricatures of other cartoon characters that appeared at the beginning and the end. Also enjoyed the cameos of some other popular WB characters.

It would be cool to have this released on DVD & VHS.

    Nope, I didn't get to see it. I don't even remember hearing about a Spring Break Special... Hmm...well, I'm downloading that opening now, maybe it'll refresh my memory. Who knows? I could have watched it, and forgot about it. ;;

    Spring Break Special

It was 1998 before it was shown over here but thankfully I had two VCRs set up for the occassion.
They showed it again around Christmas 2000. ( But the transmitter broke down in the middle of it and it was ruined )

Seen it, I have it on tape! Actually, I was worried that the show would be all wacky in the Animaniacs vain, but I was pleased to see the characters looked and acted like themselves (with the exception of Babs, who now had boobs). It was nice hearing the familiar voices though, with the exception of John Kassir (his Buster was always grating to me), and Tress McNeille, who had Babs sound just like Dot from Animaniacs (when there was a difference between the two voices; Babs' was always more grown up).

It was a good special though--especially the Plucky storyline--and made me long for more episodes of TTA. Some of the songs were kinda lame, though...

    Dadgum

I'd like to learn more about this, the Christmas special, and any other thing I may not have heard about. When did these things air? After the series was over? What were they about? Whose house do I have to break into to see them?
