    Fanfics Page Updated!

    Like This Thread!
    Ooooooooooooooookay. Lotsa good stuff--

    "Radio Free Warners" (Animaniacs)
    "Loud's Histerical Wish" (Histeria!)
    "Histeria Night Live" (Histeria!)
"Lethal Intellect" (Pinky & the Brain)
"Go West Young Fox!" (starring Foxy--don't ask me, I'm just the editor!)

Address is http://toonzone.net/wbc/fun/fanfics/, in case you've forgotten. I'm posting it here before I link it from the main WBC page, so all of you fanfic devotees (particularly the people who wrote the respective stories) please scan through and let me know if you spot any formatting / other glitches.

Now it's Craig's Time. I'm gonna go eat some cold seafood linguine and take a nice hot shower now. This job isn't nearly as easy as I make it look!

    Enjoy!

    Re: Fanfics Page Updated!

    Woo-hoo!

    For anyone who forgets:

"Lethal Intellect": Brain, realizing that the public eats up low-brow Adam Sandler-laden fare triple-time, decides to produce (with the help of Billie, Pinky, and Axel Foley) the action/scifi/kickboxing/grossout humor-laden extravaganza, "Lethal Intellect". Featuring: 438 car explosions, plagarizing rap "artists", and a certain famed film director (besides Spielberg).

"Radio Free Warners": the Warners, ticked off at being expected to put on more lame Poke-promos (via the use of the now-infamous Recycled Stock Footage) decide, with the aid of Pinky, Billie, Brain, and Axel Foley, to run their own pirate radio station to express their grievances and fight against the staleness of today's top-40/talk-driven radio...which doesn't settle well with the likes of Radio D*sney, Dr. Laura, and the FCC. Featuring: lots of ninja-thug fight scenes, and new tricks for the Warners (besides that "two places at once" bit).

I'm Captain Caps, and I'm not dead, but I wish to say...

Brainatra...Thank you! You may not remember me (I'm your "80s antagonist", if you will), but you did a smashing editing job on RFW. Congrats!

As for the rest of this board's denizens...I'll start regular posting again soon. Warner Brothers is alternately pleasing me (in the DVD department), and annoying me (I'm not a big comic-book fellow, but that new "Superman" series doesn't swing with me from the previews). I'll report on all this and more. Just give me a week or two and I ought to fully integrate myself again.

    Sincerely,

    John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

Now, Brainatra and Craig...How about "The Harley Awards"?

    Thanks!

Everything seems to be in order for my two pieces of work. BTW, as some may know I posted Loud's Histerical Wish, my Wakkos Wish spoof, twice on the old Board{s}but I never posted my other one on this one, so unless you go to the Encyclopedia H! board you may not have seen it before. Well, if you know about Saturday Night Live and it's famous bits, you will laugh at it, and I assure you I wrote the opening sketch about people imitating Bush well before the attacks.

Brainatra sent me an "edited" version some time ago, but it was basically just all the parts lumped together, without any consistencies in formatting, etc. (plus it's really quite long and tedious reading). Someone's gonna have to clean it up before it's suitable for Archive viewing.

I'm personally awaiting BWB and BoTW, which are long overdue for the Archive. And naturally, if Sharklady or anyone else who's written independent stories lately feels like submitting 'em, just send them right to craig@toonzone.net. Thanks!

As to fanfics, I'm still looking forward to Pinky Histeria & the Brain. According to a post on the old boards, DanielleB aka DannyB did send it in, but someone lost it in the shuffle er sum junk --- *cough colin cough* --- well, I've waited this long. Not to mention the continuation of Mouse In the Mirror, which is still waiting for someone to continue it --- *cough romey cough*. Then there's Belchie's Freakazette; she was his date @ the Histeria Fanfic Awards btw. And Joan of Arc dumped Nostradamus for Belchie's canine friend, voiced by the voice of Napoleon. But I digress. I'm also overloading y'all who're in charge. Well, get to it when y'all get to it.

YAY! MORE FANFICS! Everyone come and party at my place for celebration!

...More H! fics in particular! Ah, life is good. Heck, maybe it's time I submitted some of my own fics to Toon Zone...check 'em out at the Encyclopedia Histeria board for an early reading of them!

    ...Please check 'em out?
Signature. A noun. It is, in internet terms, a series of words, phrases, and pictures at the end of every post used to make posts more fun to look at and show the user's uniqueness.

    ....I wish I had a decent one.

Re: "Harley Awards": Tried editing it down as much as possible (last time I checked, clocked in around 100 pages), though I suppose I could try editing it down even further---slash-and-burn-through-various-writers'-parts time?

Re: "Brain of Two Worlds": Had to re-edit it to delete a few references to the apparently-dead-in-the-water "Mouse In the Mirror"/delete a few of the more fanboy-ish comic book bits, but it's ready to be sent off. Just haven't, er, gotten around to it yet... :-)

Re: the two new story ideas I posted for chainlinks (a Thanksgiving story and a "Survivor" parody): Admittedly thought the "Survivor" parody would be funnier (had a few ideas for "surprise" contestants), though of course, Thanksgiving seems rife for humor (re: how it's overshadowed by Christmas nowadays, the football games, etc.). Plus, Turkey Day *is* approaching, and probably would be here by the time the thing was done (and Halloween's been covered by that H! trick-or-treat story pretty well IMO....).
