Except for the XBox fanboy, the comments weren't too mean, just disliking (hating) the fact that it wasn't of Miyamoto's design and, instead, Delaney's own take of it. They could have put it in a more respectful manner, but I see that side of their argument. Too bad its blinding them to how impressive and symbolic the picture really is. Oh well, to each his own.

Who SAYS it has to be anime? Just because Zelda is a video game, it's automatically considered an "anime"? There was even an American cartoon serial at one point...It sucks. It isn't even anime...
I've never really spent much time at the IGN boards, but I'm defintely not regretting it.

Bah, I trust IGN for the most part, it's good, but avoid the message boards like the plague. Frequented by lonely, sociophobic, pimply-faced teens.
Not your crazy, friendly variety like me, oh, no. D3\/\/D speaking, Porn-sniffing, CS-obsessed, VG-EBAYing SITH. It's bad enough nerds and geeks get segregated from the rest of society, but among gaming, there's a civil war. I belong to the 'light side'. I'm nice to people. Have I ever directly insulted anyone on this board? But these guys...evil evil. Not demented evil. Unfortunately, they constantly win on FPS fronts with many *WOOT WOOT*s and whatnot. With the dwindling amount of Strategy MP games, our power is dwindling...soon the dark side will take over the gaming community, and lost all will be.

Ok, Enough star wars for me.
Anyway, avoid IGN messageboards like the plague. Bubonic, that is.
