Baldur's Gate 2--Shadows of Amn

Anyone played this game through? Hell, these BG games are long. I only have at most 3 hours a day to play this game, usually much less. I was once in one dungeon for a week! Oh well, it's fun, if a bit taxing for my fisher price computer.

Anyway, I have a question for those who've played it through. I have Mazzy, and I'm going to re-add Viconia later on down the line. These two HATE each other, Mazzy moreso than Viconia because of her bigotry against Drow. I like Mazzy despite this rather disappointing character fault, but I was wondering if anyone here lost control of Mazzy and she killed Viconia? I know Keldorn tries to kill Viconia after a while, but does Mazzy? Or does she strictly stick to verbal abuse?

I'm probably going to take the risk anyway, and despite my prejudice against lawful good characters, Mazzy seems to have a pretty level head for a lawful good character. I'm staying away from Keldorn--he's toxic.

I haven't played with Mazzy, but I do know that Viconia is damned tough to keep in your party if ANYONE is good. Which sucks, because she's hands-down the best cleric.

So, have you picked up the expansion pack yet? Amazingly, it's about half as long as the original game, not to mention a damn fine close for the series.

I know that the only person who resorts to downright violence towards Viconia is Keldorn. I've heard conflicting reports about Mazzy, but it seems that most of them drop her off the party after the first threat. A couple who've played it through say that Mazzy never goes postal on Viconia like Keldorn. Viconia seems to have a respect-dislike relationship with Jaheira, Yoshimo gets along with mostly everyone (hmmm....), and Minsc only seems to hate Edwin. I'm not going to comment on Anomen.

Strangely enough, I've had both Edwin and Korgan flirting with Mazzy, and Mazzy has that sarcastic-but-amused British attitude towards Korgan. She's also a great frontline backup to Korgan and can shoot from long distance with her +++++ short bow. I'm going for a mixed alignment party, and I'm going to try to make it work. If all goes well, I'm going to try and see what this party can do:

Korgan
Viconia/Jaheira (Need to drop one, but I like Vic and Jaheira seems too important to the game)
Edwin/Aerie/Imoen if I get her back
Mazzy
Yoshimo

I bought the expansion pack along with the Shadows of Amn game. I installed them both at the same time, so when I finish Amn, it'll seque right into Throne of Bhaal. But I'm not even thinking about that, because at 2-3 hours a day (a bit more in the weekends) I won't even get there for a month or so.

I have BG2 and the Expansion Shadows of Amn. I haven't finished them yet, but so far its an extremely cool game. The only character i keep around a lot is Anomen, just because he asks a lot of questions and I like advising him to do something violent.

I love this game! Still playing it after a year or so. Anyways, Mazzy will not try to kill Vic, she's good, but not a fanatic. There are some witty exchanges between them, but I've only known Anomen to go nuts against Vic and Aerie. (Yeah, he'll try and take out Aerie at some point if he fails his knightship test thingy)
