Will Sega still be making Thor, Captain America and Iron Man games?
There are no current plans for additional Marvel games to be published by Sega.

Probably because they keep making subpar games.

It's about time, every single game they made was piss poor at best. Hopefully they can get some real quality games going.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. They had the opportunity to turn straw into gold with this combination but... they just messed it up.

This can only be good news - while the Cap game wasn't too bad, both Iron Man and the Thor games were terrible to the point of being unplayable. The Incredible Hulk game also took several step backwards from the awesome Ultimate Destruction game despite several years and a next gen upgrade being between them.

Now, time to get them distributed to decent developers who will hopefully see them as something more than cash cows whenever they happen to pop up in theatres - they are all popular enough now not to need a movie tie-in to generate interest in games about them.

More like SEGA drops Marvel. The sales haven't been there for the games for SEGA to care.

Well, yeah, the games sold poorly because they sucked.

It's a vicious cycle unfortunately. If the games don't sell well SEGA won't give them the funding, and the games don't sell well because they're bad and not given the time or funding needed. Of course the worst case scenario could've happened where the games sold well even though they were trash so SEGA kept the norm. Thankfully consumers were smarter than that.

You think they would of tried making an Avengers game at least before cutting all ties but I guess if the sales from the last year of games weren't good at all, what would be the point? But as others pointed out this is a good thing since yeah these kind of movie licensed games weren't really any good. Honestly wasn't there an effort a few years ago to actually try and IMPROVE movie license game so we didn't get the crud that was flooding the market for decades of rushed games to try and meet a deadline? Did Sega not get that memo or is that something that really just didn't go into effect?
Man now I"m up to 7,000+ posts. Hard to believe it took me 8 something years to get that many. How long will it take me to get another thousand? Guess you're going to have to keep reading what I have to say to find out.... I hope you've been doing that anyway as I feed off the attention.

I wish they could have at least done an Avengers game to finish off the story but I do agree most of the them did suck. Hopefully Marvel can find someone as in love with Marvel as Rocksteady was with Batman when they find the next game developer they get.
