Nonetheless, some of the games I look forward to this month is Arkham City, Crysis, Spiderman Edge of Time, and Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi.

I heard Little King's Story is a real treat and has a great story under it's belt so I'm excited. =)

I had no idea that The Legend of zelda four swords adventure was out for dsi. I had to get it, simply because it was free.

But isn't this the game where there are four links, or am I mistaking this game to the gamecube game?

Yes four swords is the Zelda with four Links, it was originally part of Link to the Past for the gba. Years later it got sent to the gamecube with a brand new story mode and was titled "Four Swords Adventures" and then it got sent to the DSi with more new goodies and some new modes from what I heard. =)

Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures are different games. The latter is a sequel with a more fleshed out story (I think). I believe Minish Cap (The prequel) makes it a sort of trilogy.

Anyway, this weekend I found Mega Man X4 (PS1) and Bushido Blade 2 (PS1) at garage sales.

My local used book store had a copy of Panzer Dragoon (the Saturn one) for $15, which seemed reasonable, so I grabbed it. Turns out the guy that traded it in also put Panzer Dragoon 2 in there, and the people at the store just thought it was a 2-disc game. The employee selling it to me said he'd just go with it, so he left it in there. Basically, I got Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2 for $15 total.

It always helps to have a little luck on your side.

Ended up getting Portal 2 and Psychonauts for the PC. Then I got an Xbox 360 wired controller in case I felt like playing a PC games with a controller.

I saw Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on sale at Amazon for $15, so I grabbed it to finally check it out for myself. The phrase "short but sweet" firmly applies; about 10-15 hours, but fun and a solid story. Some of the twists didn't catch me too hard by surprise, but some did indeed. Check it out if you haven't!

I need to stop buying games at garage sales, I really don't have the money to do so, but I had to get Silent Hill 2 on PS2 today. I've heard it's a genuine classic and this saves me the trouble of getting the new HD Collection just to play it.

I almost sold my whole PS2 collection (and PSX games) to upgrade to a new system as I have been sitting out this generation. Hell has I knew of Disc Replay last week or two weeks ago I would have done just that. Anyway now that I know of Disc Replay and have one I can easily get to I'm never going to Game Stop again. They probably would have given me half the store credit Disc replay offered. Had I sold everything I could have gotten a Wii and games but I decided that my Playstation two still has some life left in it.

Anyway I traded in a stack of old games for Pokemon White, Final Fantasy IV DS, Arc the Lad collection, and Saga Frontier 2. Yeah now I can catch up on those playstation RPGs I missed out on.

They also have a decent number of Japanese import PSX games. If I buy one of those on a later date I can actually get some legitimate use out of a Playstation Emulator.

I have never had luck at garage sales when it comes to games. Really the best I found was a guy selling a bunch of recent game strategy guides and that was not much of a find.

Garage sales and thrift stores have made up the majority of collection since I'm a bit of a scrounger and I love classics. Most trips are duds, but I go often since it's something my mom and I can do together (We don't have much in common).
