Squaresoft Star Wars fans???

I was just wondering if anyone knows or thinks that there are some Star Wars fans working at Square (the company that makes the Final Fantasy series).

I ask mainly because I can think of several in the series that feature a pair of charcters named Biggs and Wedge. In Star Wars Biggs and Wedge were the two pilots that joined Luke in the successful trench run that destroyed the first Death Star.

In FF6 Biggs and Wedge worked for the Emperor and took Terra to invade Narshe at the beginning of the game.

In FF7 Biggs and Wedge were members of Barret's resistance group and aided Cloud and Barret a lot early on.

In FF8 Biggs and Wedge were Galbadian soldiers who tried to kill the party several times, including the asault on the missile base.

Coincidence?

And of course we can't forget Biggs and Wedge in Chrono Trigger. But it has been rumored that the guys at Square are Star Wars fans since we've had Biggs and Wedge in a few FF's and Chrono Trigger.

Maybe it's kinda like the "Cid in every game" thing that Squaresoft is also famous for...

Also, Biggs and Wedge also appear in Final Fantasy X as playable Blitzball Players.

and Yes, I believe There are Star Wars fans working in Squaresoft.
