I thought that was you on Protodude's Corner.
Anyway, yeah. This basically sold me the system. It was the tipping point.

BOOM. TAKE THAT YOU NON-BELIEVING WIENERS.
It's feels good to say that. And suddenly, the 3DS becomes even more appealing.

HOLY CRAP YES!
It finally happened. And on the 3DS. I'm sold. I am so officially sold on the 3DS now it's not even funny.
Zack and Zeke
It's kind of like ET, if you take out all of the emotion and turn it into a silly webcomic that's updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays
I am fill with joy and dissapointment. Joy because we finally getting a sequel and dissapointment because is not coming to one of HD consoles or the Wii. Oh well.

I'm happy its on the 3DS I was afraid they were going to keep it with old Playstation graphics and make it downloadable game.Yeah its a shame its not on the HD consoles but like I said it could be worse. I myself feel the game dodge a bullet with it not being on the Wii now there wont be any tacked on motion controls. Granted that just my opion I've gotten kinda bored with motion gaming.
...That's it, the Nintendo 3DS will be the #1 item on my birthday list next year. This game has sealed that decision and nothing anyone says can change that.
It's finally happening, guys...It's finally happening. *tears up*

Enjoy while it lasts, I wouldn't be surprised if the REAL megaman fans boycotted the game's release or influence the market so it won't be released since the legends series is an outright insult to them
Anyway, I don't see the point of ressurecting these series, heck it should had stayed dead and buried where it belongs![]()

Dude, coming into a thread to tell everyone that they're wrong and that the thing they like sucks and that "real fans" will boycott it is trolling. You know better than this.
Personally, I consider myself a REAL Mega Man fan, in that I've played the games since the first one came out and beaten most of them, and I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed and finished the first Mega Man Legends, but couldn't work my way all the way through two because it was a rental and some of the dungeons got boring and frustrating. I hope they put the first two on PSN before the new one is released.
And stay out of Riverdale!
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
I'm pretty happy about this.
Here's to hoping they port the first and second game. It's been so long since I played the first one I forgot the story. And the second one was never released on the 64 so I have no idea what happened in that game.

The only terrible part of this news is that Inafune implied the game isn't anywhere near finished since they want the fans involved in a new form of game development.
I'll be keeping an eye on this though. Thankfully those appearances in the VS games didn't go to waste.
I heard this series is really popular, how are the first two games?
Fan of jrpgs, anime, and cartoons.
Like I've said in the other topic...
I've come. Day one. That is all. Sure hope a bundle of the first two games (and the Misadventures of Tron Bonne) somewhere down the line too.

They're all right. Nice graphical style, good sense of humor, interesting RPG elements. But the controls are a bit awkward and the combat isn't very good. It involves a lot of circling around a shooting bland polygonal enemies and running around rather dull dungeon rooms. It's one of those games that has benefited from the extra nostalgic fanboy gloss it gets by being no longer widely available, the same gloss that would make you think Kid Icarus was the best game on NES.

I'll admit, the first stole all of Ocarina of Time's thunder for me. It's essentially an action/adventure game with a lengthy quest, lots of weapons to upgrade, and a great presentation. I'm actually still amazed that, during the cinematics, they'd actually have mouth textures that fit the perspective.
The second wasn't quite as memorable to me, and I can never put my finger on why. It's technically better in every way, but I think it might have suffered a bit from being spread out across several smaller islands with different enviroments instead of one big island.
Save a webcomic! Read Commander Kitty!

I hope it goes back to being centered around a big hub city where you can get to know the NPCs and interact with them.
I also really hope they port the first two to DS or make a 3DS double bundle so we can get back into the story. I never played the second one.

They aren't super rare. They're just highly sought and there haven't been any ports. Of course, I don't know where you are or what access to games you have. Golden Sun 1 and 2 are dirt common in most places, so if you had trouble finding those you'd really have trouble finding these.
The way the faces worked in cinematics really impressed me, too. It might be hard to remember, but at that time most characters sat stone-faced in in-engine cinematics even if there was dialogue playing.
And stay out of Riverdale!
