    game shark or lame shark?

    Like This Thread!
game shark is a waste. 1st of all, every month or so another version of gameshark is released. what is the point?

2nd of all whats up with the ps2 game shark? you cant stick the hard ware in memory card slot 2. no, it has to be slot 1. oh wait, how are you supposed to load your game from slot 2? what game loads from slot 2? what are you supposed to do switch the memory card when the game loads up? yes, i'm sure the game shark company would say. well it erases all the codes in the game shark memory after you switch! and of course i happen to have all the bad luck. i put the hard ware in slot 1, game shark loads up and what does the screen say: game shark hard ware not found. what does it want you to do? jam the hard ware into the slot so you break the hard ware and the memory card slot.

how am i supposed to have fun in gta3 with out game shark? we need infinite health!

i have heard about some thing else called code breakers, does any one have any info about this, and is it availible for ps2?

i know nothing about code breaker, but i do know that gameshark has gotten lamer since the gameshark pro. now that was a cheat device you can be proud of. code generator, 8 built-in memory cards...today's gamesharks are just terrible.

Game Shark frankly sucks, it's paying for something that can ruin your system.

It's been proven that the PS2 Gameshark will eat away at your laser. First you will notce that colored disc won't play. Then the clear ones. Then you will notice nothing will play in your system. You'll have a 300 dollar paper weight.

Send it back to Sony? Sorry no can do. They run a check on your system. They know if Gamesharks or off brands have been used. If they have then it voids whatever protection package you have and again you have a 300 paper weight.

Gameshark or lame shark? If you want to play the game then you better leave the shark at the store.

Yeah it really does suck. It could have been worse but one of my friends gb games was tottaly erased from game shark after he had played over 100 hours of it.

First of all - It doesn't matter what color the CD's are if they just are quality brand and not 15 cents ones. Second - I know atleast 20 people who use the PS2 gameshark and none of them have had problems with dodgy lasers. I don't know about gamesharks for any other systems, but it does say that "This product is not endorsed by SCEA ect ect whatever"
I admit that for other than booting up gamez, the GS2 isn't quite as good as one could wish...

The only system I ever bought a Game Shark for was my old N64. And now, unless I have the stupid thing plugged into it, my Starfox 64 doesn't play.
    DON'T BUY A GAMESHARK!!!

Game genie proves that the technology can be used that won't ruin systems or games. So why aren't they. I mean all you had to do was buy one Game genie and you were set basicly for life.

It didn't screw up carts unless you were stupid and used/removed the cart wrong. I think galoob made the genie, so why don't they make it again.

yeah. you see there would only be one version for each system, it wont screw up your games or systems and it will put game shark out of buissness.
