X-Men (I think the Konami one). It never went to any system and was just a lot of fun to play - it was the one game I wasted a ton of quarters on!

X-Men from Konami. For Magneto's in-game dialogue, if anything.
"X-Men! Welcome to die!"
"I am Magneto! Master of Magnets!"
"X-Chicken!"
The Punisher's "Say youl pwayews!" comes close, but it needed more. I'm also a sucker for beat 'em ups.
I voted for regular X-Men. Years ago my brother and I would play this game when we went with our Dad for his bowling league night (when there was no school the next day of course). He would give us each a couple of quarters and we would go play the game until Cyclops (me) and Wolverine/Colossus (my bro) died at the hands of an early villain.

Marvel v. Capcom, it sooooo rocked!
Marvel vs. Capcom 1 & 2. The animation in those games is the way Marvel heroes should be animated on their respective T.V. shows.
"I love dead. Hate living."
I went with the original X-Men game too. You've gotta love a game where Wolverine can shoot lasers from his claws as a special move.

I voted for X-Men vs. Street Fighter, man I loved that game. I was the ultimate with Gambit and Cammy. I used to play that game all the time. It is still one of my favorite fighting games.
I like Marvel vs. Capcom games too, but the second was a little too wild for me. I could never get the hang of those air combos.
I also played the original X-Men arcade game all the time. Its a great game, however, it isn't my favorite of the games up there.
Let's not forget his final boss quotes:Originally posted by CadaverousEyes

RIP Sir Dusty Plains of Iowa, aka Dusty. I'm gonna miss you, boy.
Old-Skool X-Men! I put about $20 in quarters into that game once... and it was worth it. Marvel vs. Capcom (1 or 2) is a close second, though.
I voted X-Men vs. Street Fighter. I beat that game with every character, just by pairing them with Storm. Only game where I've seen everybody's end cinematic.
MvC2 (but not 1) and the Konami games are great, too. You want Nightcrawler on that last - he can plow everyobdy except the Blob, who was unnaturally hard to beat. MvC2, you want Cable, Juggernaut, and whoever.
