    James Bond: Agent Under Fire

    Like This Thread!
I'm trying to decide what game to get next for my GameCube and I'm leaning toward James Bond: Agent Under Fire and I'm just wondering what some you think of it.

Please don't say anything that amounts to spoilers, just give me you thoughts on whether or not it is a game to get.

    Thanks

funny you should ask, as I just bought this game today..

From the first board I played, I got the impression that it may be a bit easy....yeah, easy. Which is fine with me, because I sucked so hard at Goldeneye ...anyway..

I say, if you like first-person shooters, definitely go get it. because it's one heckuva games. Graphics are great, AND..you get to drive a tank, and drive his cars...

Despite what the video game websites say, it's a solid game. I'm guessing they don't like it for the same reason they didn't like Wave Race: Blue Storm....it's just like the other games. But, I never owned Goldeneye, and if you haven't, or just love bond..then definitely get this one..

I sorta liked the game, I got to test the Playstation 2 version. However, I must say that the controls left a lot to be desired. Took me forever to get them down. But, they might be different for the Gamecube.

according to another person I know who has the game (Nightwing), he said there is the ability to switch the controls..one is based like the game "Turok". I have yet to test it out, but I know he wouldn't lie..

Can anyone who has played Agent Under Fire and Goldeneye compare the two games? I really liked Goldeneye and would consider buying AUF if they are similar games. Are the single player campaigns good? Is multiplayer as fun as it was with Goldeneye?

I'm a big Goldeneye fan, and I must say that it was the easier of the two to play. THAT said, however, I must also say that, from what bit I've played at least, the graphics in AUF will simply blow you away. (No pun intended.) Plus, I like the way the Q-gadgets come more into play. Oh, and I hear there are areas where you get to control vehicles. I want to see that!

Agent Under Fire definitely sounds like a good game. I'm going to have to at least give it a rent.

The gamecube and XBOX versions have bots and no slowdown. the ps2 version has no bots and LOTS of slowdown and i've only got a PS2 . The graphics are more impressive for PS2's hardware than XBOX's or Gamecube's hardware. Get the XBOX version, it has the best graphics and the least amount of slowdown.

    Re: 007 Agent Under Fire

When I play this game, I feel I'm watching a movie. It's the best bond game since, Goldeneye for the N64. Get it, I really recommend this for all those die-hard James Bond fans out there.

I have it for Gamecube.... GET IT!!!! I love it. I also loved Goldeneye. All James Bond fans should play this. You do feel like you are watching a movie when you play it!!! Also, during Multiplayer, the Q-claw (grapple hook) can cling to all surfaces, so it makes for interesting "Spiderman" like fighting.

but there's a difference between the PS2 and NGC (Game Cube nintendo sounds stupid to me so I'm calling it Nintendo Gamecube) graphics right?

Basically, the PS2 version is the least-pepped up of the bunch. The GameCube and XBOX versions are identicle: The option to allow bots, sharper graphics and other tweaks (like being able to choose the level setting on each level).

So, the PS2 version came first, then GCN, then XBOX. But, GCN and XBOX are, and I'll say it again, identicle.
