I finally did it... Gamecube!!

Since I joined TZ my profile has said:

I also like to play video games and plan to get a nextgen game system soon (as soon as I decide which one to get).

But now I can change it! I just got a Nintendo GameCube! I weighed the pros and cons and picked the best system for me.

I bought Batman: Vengeance (which I like so far, btw) and will be getting WWF WrestleMania X-8 early this summer, but what I'm looking for is some advice from my fellow TZ GameCubers. What other games would be good to get or not to get?

Get Super Smash Brother's Melee. <--This game is awesome

BTW: I played SSBM at the mall once it was good.... as for LM I haven't tried that one yet...

Welcome to the Darkside.

Anyway I have Luigi's Mansion and i say your better offrenting it 2 times and calling it a day. I haven't beaten it but the game while it is fun,is kind of easy.

Don't get Pikmin unless you have a lot of paintence which I don't. I finally broke down and bought strategy guide to beat it. The game is kind of hard if you just plan to pick up and play and the ending isn't worth all the sttuff you go through either. It's an excellent game but frustrated the crap out of me.



I suggest picking up

Smash Bros... A Must Buy

NBA Street...If you like BasketBall and even if you don't you'll enjoy this title

Super Monkey Ball(If you get some friends over or not but don't expect to go in owning this game..It's addictive and frustrating as heck)

ExtremeGX it's like a racing agme but hella fun even in first player.

You already got the Batman game.

If you don't have the Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast DEFINETLY pick up SonicAdventure Battle.

NHL Hitz(If you have buds or a brother/sister)

Rouge Squadren- but Lord and jesus this game is hardI gave up and sold it after not being able to get past the second stage.

Simpsons Road Rage - I love it..I don't need friends and like Crazy Taxi the game doesn't get boring.



Tommorow 5 games come out for GC...

I'm picking up Bloody Roar: Primal Fury ..I'll let you know if the games worth the buy.

NFL Blitz 20-02... I'm sure you've played the past installments so I know you'll want this game.

SoccerSlam I'm DEFINETLY getting this game if it's as fun as it looks.

NBA 2K2.. I have this on DC and it's tight

Home run king I'm not a base ball fan so I dunno. I will rent it just to check it out however.

Games to get:

Super Smash Bros. Melee. Not only is it a very fun and insane fighter, but it brings on oodles of nostalgia for anyone who has ever played a Nintendo game.

Super Monkey Ball. Strange, but extremely addictive fun. Though be warned, it gets VERY difficult on the hidden levels...

Star Wars Rogue Squadron II. Oh yeah, Star Wars at its best! The Death Star run is worth the price of admission.

Games to rent:

Luigi's Mansion. Lots of fun while it lasts, but a bit on the short side and has little replay value.

Crazi Taxi. Only if you haven't played it before... it's great, but don't try driving right after playing!

Pikmin. Also short, but extremely compelling. I bought it, but I know that it won't be everyone's cup of tea.

Games to watch for in the future:

Mario Sunshine, Zelda (ignore all that whining about the cel-shading), Metroid, Star Fox Adventures, Resident Evil (completely redone!), Eternal Darkness (the only game where your character goes insane), etc.

Other games to look for are Spy hunter, Dark Summit, DOA 2, Vexx, James Bond, Cel Damage, AND Rune(has a new name for US).

As for the above mentioned..I rather enjoyed Luigi's Mansion..but, I have to admit, I haven't even TOUCHED it since I beat it (that was last november). It's one of those games sorta like Super Mario 64..ya beat it, find all the secrets and you're done...but you'll pick it up later on just to give it another whirl. I say if you can find it used for $30..get it..

And, Extreme G3 is EXTREMELY fun..but the weird thing is, I don't see it around much anymore, so you might have a hard time finding it for Cube (I don't even see the PS2 one much anymore).

ExtremeG3 I kind of rare but i've found it at Electronic Botique infact when I workered there we had a lot of copies but they gradually got sold out. I'm sure they still have more. You can go to any where they sell or import games (like EB) and they can order it for you.

Haven't played it myself, but I've heard that it's a solid, if not stellar, platformer. If you're a big fan of platform games I say check it out by all means, though Klonoa on the PS2 is a superior product, I hear.
