Sonic 3 and Sunset Riders.
I liked the Streets of Rage games. But I haven't played them for years.
This is very similar to the suggestion put forward by the Quirmian philosopher Ventre, who said, "Possibly the gods exist, and possibly they do not. So why not believe in them in any case? If it's all true you'll go to a lovely place when you die, and if it isn't then you've lost nothing, right?" When he died he woke up in a circle of gods holding nasty-looking sticks and one of them said, "We're going to show you what we think of Mr Clever Dick in these parts..."

i hae all three of the streets of rage games
Road Rash 2!
Spooon!-The Tick
"Jack the sound barrier. Bring the noise!"-Rat Thing from Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." -Bene Gesserit litany against fear
Phantasy Star IV. Haven't played much of PS 2, but it's very hard.

i personally liked the chain more
What, nobody else will stand up for the Sonic games? I truly dug them back then, and I remember that the Sonic & Knuckles lock-on cart was a great idea.
I just got Sonic Adventure 2 yesterday... I am a happy Hatter.

I was wondering whne you'd show up Hatter, and yes Sonic Adventure 2 does rock. "It is habit forming." It's very old school Sonic.
Anyway, there was one Genny game I forgot. It was called Cool Spot, that thing was just to awesome.
Steets of Rage 3 and any of the Road Rash.
"Don't stick your tongue out at me unless you're going to use it, baby!" David Lee Roth
Oh, I finally thought of another one. Anybody here catch Rocket Knight Adventures? It was a truly odd thing about this possum knight with a rocket pack that fought against an army of pigs, but it played great. It was done by the folks at Konami that would eventually form Treasure. Ah, that game had some great bosses, especially the robotic pig jester boss that would spaz out completely.
I haven't said too much about this thread because, well, I didn't play the Genesis much since I never owned one. I would have liked to, but I didn't have the money. I rented a system several times, though.
Oh, and I.R. Joey, I went to www.consolewars.com . Is that the right address? It's all in German!

Sonic and Knuckles was great, it was like getting 4 games practically, since you could win that game differently with Sonic and Knuckles, and then play 2 and 3 with Knuckles.
I was also a big fan of Sunset Riders. I liked the Mexican guy with the shotgun and poncho.
I remember Rocket Knight!! That game was so weird yet so well done at the same time. Not a favorite though, I only rented it. But by far, the best Genesis game in the world is:
TOE JAM & EARL!
With some game shark codes to spruce it up (specifically unlimited gift inventory and don't drown in water) my friends and I played some hilarious games. That game is hilarious!!
My other pick is THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN for the same reason. That game was just psychotic. Gotta love it.
I only have two picks because I'm more the Nintendo fan. I got Genesis for Christmas from one of those reletives who doesn't know what the heck to get kids. I'm sure you all know the type.![]()
Oh, and it wasn't a favorite, only the two upt here are, but I remember that Beastmaster game. That one was pretty cool. I was thinking about it the other day cuz of Joker's avatar.

tojam and earl rocked although i never owned it
Interesting fact to bring up because up until a few years ago, I never could own it either! Much like the problem I had with the best SNES game, THE ADVENTURES OF B&R, I couldn't find it anywhere!
Then the net came along, and I used it to expand my recources outside of the Funcoland by the mall, and that's how I got where I am today: feeling nostalgic? Get your hands on any game you want!![]()
