It's unclear if this even has anything at all to do with the Mother series at all, but Mother's (and Mother 1's) 20th anniversary is coming up, so it may be a surprise in store.

A Mother 1 remake would be sweet, but since this is Level 5, a good game (that we actually see released here) would be good too.

Apparently, a new type of game and entertainment service (playable on PC and mobile phone) called “Roid” is planned to be released in Japan.

...

What a horrible name for a service. Sounds even worse when putting the words "Roid" and "Interface" together.

Releasing this on a cell phone means nothing, does Japan not understand this?

Reminds me of something Harvest Moon-like though.
