House of the Dead Overkill breaks a record

I disagree with this, by the way. It might have the most scripted uses of the F-Word, but Dead to Rights 2 has enemies that have about two sound clips each and most of them are "(f-word) you, gwailo" or some other insult that manages to work the word in. I must have heard it 500 times playing that game.

Some people have a problem with the amount of profanity in Overkill. If you ask me, the game wouldn't be the same without it. It's going for the grindhouse feel and those movies were always filled with over-the-top swearing. It really adds to the mood and style of the game.

I don't know, it just feels too easily manipulated a category. Then again, I didn't mind it that much when I realize Samuel J. essentially broke it.

Regardless and to be on-topic, I think it worked for Overkill as the game didn't take itself seriously whatsoever.

I would expect a shooter to be relatively short and based on that I don't see how it could even compare to GTA: San Andreas or IV. They must really let it fly in Overkill.

de Blob, World of Goo, and World Tour=good games (though the latter two are available on other systems).

Though this might be the first Wii exclusive third party game in a while to sell because of this.

If I recall correctly, Yahtzee mentioned this in his review. He said something to the effect of, ".....uses the word mother#$%^&* as often as most people use a comma."

Now that I think about it, that says a lot when it's coming from Yahtzee Croshaw.
