Ok, so here is the official thread for Batman: Dark Tomorrow. Until the game comes out, any other topics on this game will be melded into this one...anyway..
Due out in March of 2002, Batman: Dark Tomorrow is a GameCube exclusive. Made by KemCO (makers of the horrible Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker game for Nintendo 64, Playstation and GameBoy Color) this game will be "side-scroller". Here are links to previews of it:

Pre-Order at GameStop.com
Set for a 3/15/02 Release (according to GameStop's pre-order page), very little has been released about this game.
As with the "Official: Batman: Vengeance" thread, this will be kept up-to-date till the games release!

yeah, it was actually set for a Nov. 18th (same day as the Cube launch) date....didn't know the reason behind the delay thoughOriginally posted by lasportsbiggie

i hope the delay is worth the wait
I have a friend who is working on the game. His advice to me... "Don't waste your money."
Apparently, when DC licenses out the property, they are limited to saying "Yes, Batman would do that. No he wouldn't do that." Other than that, they can only suggest script changes, and KemCo hasn't implemented any of DC's suggestions.
If the game is being released in 2 months and the only available information is a movie clip from when the game was first announced, don't expect much. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised is it undergoes another delay and still turns out just as bad as their last attempt at a Batman game. Superhero videogames should only be attempted by those skilled enough to make it work, like Neversoft (Spider-Man).
And that video wasn't even made by KemCo. It was just some video sombody else threw together. So, I expect this game to suck extremely bad...Originally posted by The Dark Knight

I think Ubi soft should make all the Batman games. They did a heck of a job with Batman Vengance. Imagine if they make a JL or Superman game.
With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility.
If they do make a Superman game they should make Supergirl a playable character.I think Batgirl should have been selectable in the Batman game.
Ubi Soft, certainly. If DC had any sense they would have canned Kemco after that ROTJ fiasco. Ah well, that's the curse of the licensed games... the appearance of the name alone ensures that they sell well, so far too many companies don't bother making the game any good.

You read it... you can't un-read it!
grrr.....i really want to think this will be good
I know this is supposed to be about Dark Tommorow...
...But I agree with SupergirlJenM- Batgirl toatally should have been selectable in Batman: Vengeance. I know it would have made the game have less stuff and cimetmatics, but at least it should have come after beating the game...
That's one thing I want to see int he sequel! Multiplayer with Batman, Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Joker, Harley, etc. choosable. Now THAT would be sweet...

IGN has coverage on the no-longer GameCube exclusive game. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but here is the link
Well there's another reason I don't need a Gamecube. I hope it's worth 50 bucks.
yeesh. I dunno, those can't be In-Game screens. I doesn't look right. And the way the views are taken really don't look right....
BTW-this belongs in B/S/BB, which is where it's going..

Hmmmmm. Interesting.
Its definitely got a cool look to it, but still no word on how it plays, and that's gonna be the deal maker or breaker. It'll be interesting to see how this one turns out.
Another example of why you shouldn't buy a system just for an "exclusive" game - this thing is coming out on all three systems now!

I merged your thread (Sugar Daddy) with this one. I forgot I made an official one awhile back.

Yeah the screen shots on Sugar's link did look a little whack.
