Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, new info

Got this from the Tekken Zaibatsu forums and obviously take no credit for it.

- Namco seems to be reconsidering releasing the game for console as it's more than just an upgrade but a totally new game.

- Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection was commonly referred to as 5.2 but Namco representatives stated during beta testing that it's more like a 5.5.

- Dash jabs are a lot harder to do.

- Wall damage seems to be toned down, maybe 50%(not confirmed).

- Tech catches are back but require very precise timing.

- Kunimitsu is the last character! So the two extra characters listed so far are Armor King and Kunimitsu. Makes sense as seeing how the game is titled "Dark Resurrection" and they were both supposedly dead.

- Every character should have an extra outfit, even the ones that got extra outfits on the console version of Tekken 5.

- 35 stages total.

- Damage toned down

- Game is 60% done

Awesome news. Kuni's back and she's my all-time favorite Tekken character (missed having her around in T4 and T5). 35 stages, toned down damage (which is a good thing, rounds and matches in T5 were too short), toned down wall damage (Brian probably gets screwed the most, now), extra costumes (for those who like them), A. King's back, plus the two new characters (Dragunov and Lili). And it's only 60% done which means they can STILL improve it.

I really hope they decide to go with a PS2 release for this, because I can EASILY see them going the Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution route and releasing it for $20 or $30 which would be steal. Man, and T5 was great enough as is, this will absolutely smoke it. Can't wait and I hope it doesn't take my arcade forever to get this like it did for T5.

Edit: Apparently there are conflicting reports from two reliable sources as to the fourth character. DUK says it's Kuni (and he WAS right with that character list for T5) and another one is saying it's not Kuni but ANOTHER returning character (Who's left though? Michelle, P. Jack, Jun, Ogre, Devil/Angel, and Dr. B really). Man, I hope I'm not disappointed and it turns out to be Kuni.

Anyway, looks like I'll be able to skip buying Tekken 5 and go straight for Dark Resurrection.
