Ever had a thought while playing (Western) action games like Halo or Half Life 2, that this or that game could've used a giant robot to ride in and have a chance to stomp on your foes? Can you imagine Master Chief riding a giant robot and wreck havoc amongst the Covenant?

Samus could fend off Metroids a lot better if she had a mecha.

And since the mecha would have to be made by the Chozo, it'd have the ability to roll up into an oversized Super Ball.

Mecha are preety much not very practicable vechiles. First, the engineering issues of mass and balance have to be sloved. Second, it you destroy one Mecha's legs, it then can't move and fall down (Aim for the Knee!). Third, Mecha are huge targets, and unless you got some good armor or sheilds, it's going to be an easy target to hit. Actually, I would rather have a tank, which is more reliable than a mecha.

But if I want a Anime Mecha in one game, it would be in a Star Wars game. Lets see how the AT-AT take on a Gundam!
