Well that's good news, hopefully this means they'll bring over ports of the games than make new one's for the US. Not that making new ones is bad but I'd like to play the same one that was released in Japan.

Ugh... just noticed the article mentions games specificaly for Sony platforms. So... not GCN or GBA games? That's just stupid.

It makes sense from where I'm seeing it. Most games that Bandai publishes in the US are for Sony based hardware. Gamecube and Xbox really don't get much, save for multiplatform ports (i.e. Digimon World 4 / Rumble Arena or One Piece PS2 / GC). The only thing that has been exclusive for Gamecube is Ultimate Muscle and Ribbit King. I don't know why Bandai isn't publishing for Gamecube, since most people import the Naruto games for it anyways.

Exaclty, those GCN games would actually sell quite well. But the real curiousity here is why not GBA games? Granted they're nothing special... but they'd sell for sure.

Why not DS either? They've got an action game out now and an RPG within the week. Plus the Shonen Jump Megamix in August.

As for their releases, my guess is they will make edited versions to keep even farther back than the current PS2 games ending up with the same fate One Piece suffered.
