Yeah does anyone know the order on how things unlock?

I'm a bit in the dark on what to save my points up for...

It goes by characters, characters' secondary colors, then levels. The prices change everytime you leave and comeback. I don't understand the logic behind that, but buy what you want for the avaliable items at the time.

Also a nice tip on ranking points, just leave the game on overnight on training mode and that should rank up some fast points.

I assume you're talking about the PS2 version. I'd be scared to leave my PS2 on overnight. I just don't trust it. Nothing will probably happen, but I wouldn't want to risk it. Now, when I had this game for Dreamcast I did that. The system was a little warm in the morning. I left my GameCube on when I first got it to get Mewtwo and that system was still cool in the morning!

Well I got The Sentinel, and apparently in the shop all I can buy are costumes, gallery images, and stages. Yet before I had the option of buying other characters besides Sentinel. I played both modes (Arcade and Score Attack) beat both without dying once(mainly due to Sentinel's sheer robotic awsomeness and therefore super powered moves). And yet nothing changed the SOLD OUT signs in the shops...Now I know I have a ways to go before all characters are unlocked(there are alot of ? at the screen), so I'm really stuck at what to do next

The reason why the SOLD OUT screen continues to appear at the shop is simple: you're playing as the same character(s) too many times. Play as the other other available characters to balance out the usage percentage ratio and you'll be able to go back to buying characters.

I didn't realise that....I guess I'll run a few rounds of 1-sided 2-player and get a few easy points from there
